Barbara E. Key is a co-author of the recently published book for social entrepreneurs: Shifting Context: Leadership Springs from Within. She is a teacher, consultant, and coach in Canada and the United States. She is passionate about facilitating leaders to achieve their vision for social change. She wants to shine her light so that others experience and express their own freedom. Coaching programs that she has designed and led have laid the foundation for the success of hundreds of social change projects benefitting thousands of community members.
Barbara coauthored You as a Global Leader (YAGL), a series of transformational leadership programs that educate people around the world to be more innovative, entrepreneurial, and team oriented. After attending Barbara’s programs, many leaders have gone on to lead their organizations to new levels of accomplishment. The stories of six of those people are included in Context (Ashlie Bryant, Erin Montgomery, Philile Mkhize, Phionah Musumba, Florence Temu, and Priya Thakoor). Each of their chapters illustrates their improved leadership competencies. Barbara’s commitment is to a world in which each individual experiences freedom.
